I like the alliteration of that—"Sam's Ceramics." 😊 Last semester, Sam took a ceramics elective at school. It was his last choice out of the three choices he had (and I wanted him to join band!), but I'm glad he was in it because he's always been a good artist and it was good for him to get in touch with that side of himself again. These are the creations he made over the course of the semester. He makes fun of them and says they're bad, but I think they're very good!
For Day of the Dead/Dia de los Muertos
This bowl is my favorite and now resides in our kitchen as a functional countertop bowl for holding things.
Salt/pepper shaker (decorative, not functional!)
This is some kind of a knob or button or something that they had to make.
I'm glad that Sam took this class and that we have these special keepsakes from it!
