I took down all the Christmas things last Saturday and, as always, the house feels emptier without them. I love the cheer and merriment the tree and decorations bring to my home and life each holiday season. I'm already looking forward to November when I'll put them all back up again!
I put the tree up on a storage container this year, and it made a nice difference!
I got a bunch of shopping and wrapping done early, so the tree was surrounded by presents for much of the season.
Olive found some cozy Christmasy spots to relax. Okay, she's not right under the tree here (which is what Bentwood always liked to do), but close enough! I guess she wanted her space. 😆
Here she is closer to being under the tree. Even when the presents were gone, she didn't lay under the tree much. I think if it were closer to the floor, she would have indulged in this luxury that only pets really get to enjoy.
I've had this candle for many years but stopped burning it a few years ago because I like using it as a decoration. I love the sentiment on it!
And look at my cute little Swarovski crystal Santa owl!
I got the perfect man for Christmas! Lucky me!
My festive holiday bed, and my festive holiday blanket!
My Christmas post from last year shows all of the decorations around the house, as well as how short the tree is without having a boost up. I'll have more Christmas pictures in other posts soon (so get excited! 😄).
