The Best Fall Season in Years!

This fall in Massachusetts was the best one in years. The temperatures were mostly mild (abnormally so, but I didn't mind!), but the real star of the show was the foliage. It started to turn color earlier than usual—in middish-September—and so I thought the leaves would be down by mid-October. But they not only held on until the end of October, the colors were also so vivid and beautiful. It was just a really nice, classic New England fall. For me personally, it was the best one in many years, not only because of the foliage and nice weather, but also with the stress of the marriage/divorce drama being totally over and done with. I felt true peace and contentment and that things were falling (πŸ˜‰) really well into place for me in my life.

The next four pictures are of land that my ancestors used to farm back in the 1800s.

This lovely trio is in stages of close-up to farther out. I loved the fiery reds and oranges!

And here was that same tree, less than one week later!

These other trees farther down the street on my neighborhood walk were also stunners.

I'm so thankful for the beautiful fall of 2024! πŸπŸ‚πŸ
