Pickity Place in September

I enjoyed a fun trip up to Pickity Place in New Hampshire for an early dinner with my mom, my sister Jennifer, my niece Hayley, and her boyfriend Kyle. The weather was much better than when we were there in May. Because of the nice weather, as well as a wait for our scheduled seating to be ready, we wandered around the grounds and had time to take more pictures than usual.

The original cottage dates back to ~1786. It's the cottage of Little Red Riding Hood fame. This is back behind it in the gardens.

Cheerful zinnias

An old-fashioned pump

Ivy league...

This tree was massive with so much leaf growth wrapped around it.

I spotted the Pickity Place cat from afar!

Hayley had gotten a much better, closer-up picture of Mr. Kitty before we got there (I can't remember his name!).

Do you see Mr. Kitty at the end?

Lovely lady picture time! πŸ˜„

And finally...the food!

The corn chowder was delish.

I didn't care too much for the cajun chicken (too spicy, even though the waitress said it wasn't!), and in retrospect, I wished I'd chosen the Summer Harvest Casserole. Oh well! It was still pretty good and I ate it all.

I liked the dessert a lot. πŸ˜‹

It was a fun way to spend a pleasant late summer/early fall afternoon with some of my favorite women!
