These were two of my fun (and slightly crazy) adventures and outings with friends in September...
I was asked to dress up as Ginger Spice as part of a group costume for my friend Jen's 90s-themed 40th surprise birthday party. Neither the Spice Girls nor Ginger Spice are my type, but I did the best I could with the help of amazon! 😂
I felt like the wig wore me rather than vice versa!

We had a Madonna in our midst!
We took this picture after a few people had left. We were from two different wards and it was fun to get together with some new(ish) people to me.
My mom was there. Also, I won the trivia game thanks to my knowledge of random 90s facts (for example, I remembered the name of the Clintons' cat--Socks!). 🙌
Jen wore a fabulous sparkly pink dress and was genuinely surprised by the surprise. So fun!
And in a decidedly non-Spice Girls event, Meredith invited me and Beth over for a lovely lunch when our plans to go to the Adams historic site once again fell through.
She made that pretty stained glass window in the background!
I've said it before and I'll say it again: I'm very thankful for the blessing of good friends in my life!
