This is where I sit the most in my house: in the back of the living room at my desk in the leather chair I assembled myself a few years ago. 😊
Romeo likes to curl up on my lap sometimes when I'm at my desk. How cozy! (Except for when he digs his claws into my leg. Ouch! 😣)
A furtive photo I took of Sam and my dad looking at a war game that my dad likes.
I had Sam take a picture of me (although, as usual, he took many to mock me) with this beautiful blanket that some of my best friends got me for my birthday. I sent one of the pictures to them with a nice thank you text. It's the modern-day thank you card!
This blanket is so cozy and soft, and it has the perfect weight to it. I love the Cape Cod map on it. My friends know me well; it's the perfect blanket for me! I'm so thankful for the blessing of good friends in my life.

And then I said, "Okay, that's enough, Sam!" and of course he didn't stop. He's a stinker.
Back in my chair again!
Here's Sam on the first day of school—high school and 9th grade!—before leaving to go to the bus stop. This is about as big as he smiles for the camera. Again, he's a stinker!
