I achieved a special accomplishment in February: I put together my new office chair all by myself! In the past, my husband handled assembly projects like this because he's better and faster at them than I am, but since that's no longer an option for me, I now have to do these things on my own, or ask someone to help if they prove to be above my pay grade. I'm happy to report that I didn't have to do that with this project. I did it all on my own! 💪🙌😁
It started like this. I laid everything out in an organized fashion.
And voila, it ended like this! A beautiful new office chair, ready to go! It wasn't as hard as I thought it would be thanks to a good instruction booklet. That makes a big difference!
I needed a new desk chair because the old one was peeling and a little uncomfortable and, well, old. I work at the computer a lot, and with starting a new remote job, I'd be sitting in it even more, so a good-quality office chair was totally worth it.
I love this office. I spend a lot of time here, and it's a happy place for me, even when I'm working or doing onerous things that aren't very fun.
The chair hasn't broken apart on me yet! And hopefully it never will, thanks to my newfound assembly skills!
