I've written before about how one of my favorite things to do when the pool is open is to sit out by the pool and read. I like the soothing sound and sight of the water and the fresh air and the warm sunshine. This is one of my happy places.
Violet is an obliging and pleasant poolside companion.

I have an outdoor candle that I sometimes light when I'm out there. Water, fire, fresh air, and reading--all of the basic necessities! (Who needs food? 😄)
