Well, now it's June so it's time to blog about February! 😄🤷
I went through my February photos with a sense of longing because that was the last "normal" month before life changed so dramatically because of the coronavirus pandemic. I never thought I'd want to go back to the rather dreary month of February, but this year, I definitely do!
This week I'm going to write about Valentine's Day and about our February vacation trip to Charlotte, North Carolina, which turned out to be our last trip (by air, anyway) for quite awhile.
Today's post about V-Day will be short and sweet, much like the day itself.
I made a heart-shaped pizza that week for dinner that tasted better than it looked!
I bought both of these things from Whole Foods--their chocolate heart cake and chocolate-covered strawberries--and they were delicious, especially the cake.
On the big day itself I made heart-shaped pancakes for dinner. This time they really did taste as good as they looked!
The day after V-Day was a Saturday and Peter and I went out to a nice dinner at an Italian restaurant that we like. This chicken and veggies entree I got was delicious.
That restaurant (Trattoria 89) hasn't been open for takeout for the last few months and I miss it. I really hope they'll stay in business because their food is so good.
And last but not least, this made me LOL a lot. I think it's so funny!
