One of my favorite nicknames for Sam is "Mister Sam-man," a play-on-words of "Mr. Sandman," an old 50s song I like that was in Back to the Future. One day at the beach last summer, Mr. Sam-man honored the source of his nickname by indeed becoming Mr. Sandman.

I guess he didn't want to neglect his head from the fun, because he buried it in the sand next.
