I think I mentioned in one of my "Five Things for Friday" posts in June that one morning when I looked outside I saw a tiny baby deer on wobbly, stick-like legs with its mother in our next-door neighbor's yard. It was so cute! I'd never seen such a small baby deer. These are the pictures I was able to take (they're not the best because I took them from our screened-in porch and I don't have a telephoto lens--I want one!).
The fawn is nursing and the mother has spotted me...
...so off she went. Sorry to interrupt your meal, little fella.
She checked on me again, and I was still there, so she took off again. {sad-face emoji}
Mama Deer wanted no part of my pictures or my spectatorship.
She treated me like I was a member of the paparazzi. Rude. ;-)
But that cute little baby! It was a neat thing to see. I love babies and baby animals!
